This surprise proposal took place in December at the Bürgenstock, inside The Cave, a private and atmospheric location sheltered from the winter weather. Despite the rainy conditions outside, the interior setting created a warm and intimate ambiance, allowing the moment to unfold calmly and naturally.
The space was thoughtfully decorated with roses, candles and balloons, transforming the cave into a personal and emotional setting for the proposal. The contrast between the cozy interior and the winter mood outside added depth and character to the story.
After the proposal, we continued with a relaxed couple photoshoot. Even with the rain and overcast skies, the soft light worked beautifully, creating timeless and authentic images focused on connection, emotion and presence rather than perfection.
This story shows that a meaningful proposal doesn’t depend on perfect weather, but on intention, atmosphere and the people sharing the moment.
